I mean this legit has nothing to do with Zions weigh and, they’re not even really trash talking him. They’re pointing out his lack of interest in wanting to play with the pelicans, which has long been speculated by fans and analysts already.
His lack of communication and practically ghosting everyone for his whole recovery process had ppl talking and thinking he wants out of NO.

I don’t like the dunk video because it showed me that Zion might not be working on his game to adjust to his physical weaknesses. Where is your jumpshot? Show me some post moves. Show me that you plan on putting less stress on your legs. If I’m the Pelicans I don’t want Zion dunking all like that.

@Truth Bearer I can’t confirm this because I don’t watch Zion’s feet when he plays, but apparently in the video Zion landed one foot at a time and the foot that touch the ground first (ie the foot that took the brunt of the impact) is the non injured one.

Hey, if ZION want OUT of N.O, isn’t gonna be something New wit the Pelicans. Everyone that they Drafted, 1st Pick, whom was a ⭐️always Abandoned Ship🧐So it is what it is.. But at least Zion was jumping on a Soft Surface, Dunking the Basketball to Help & get better wit his LANDING Posture. At the End of the Day, would like to see Zion work on other things to ELEVATE his Game vs seeing him Dunking the Ball all of the Time💯

The thing I don’t get is yes, Griff has been a mess at times in the past three years (Fired two coaches, the horrendous Lonzo/Graham trade, being a weirdo) but Griff has actually done right by Zion this season: Willie’s doing great, Drafted Herb Jones, got CJ. Heck, you could even argue that Griff’s insisting NO be a big family is the reason why he isn’t playing: they’re protecting him like a parent would to their child! If you didn’t want to be in NO from day 1 JUST SAY SOMETHING WHEN YOU GOT DRAFTED!!!
