There’s no requirement to love your job and players are employees.

Most of these guys are just super athletic giants that were made to play by their father. They may have loved the game in school but lost passion when it became a business. People make fun of SGA, but he LOVES the game.

you can just look at the players and effort and agree and 40% might be generous. they love the money not the comp and the grind to be the best

The Heat have nothing to offer. The Bucks would be dumb to do a deal with them. The Heat would also be trash because they would have no depth. Also, Pat Riley is a cheapskate 😂 he ain’t gun a offer anything gokd

People give SAS his flack for their own reasons, but when it comes to his ideas of having certain people in positions of recruitment, it makes sense. Like how he did with Kenny being the coach at UNC. Perhaps it’s time to change the guard in MIA.

No one wants to play for control freak Pat Riley plus the Heat have nothing of value. How is SAS paid so much for such awful takes.

Jose isn’t lying. These guys play for money and clout not for the passion and love for it.

The Heat tend to overwork the players and run them into the injury prone ground.

Why don’t they have this love of the game discussion for NFL players who gets suspended or released for Conduct detrimental or players holding out and holding their franchises future hostage to get a bag? That selfishness doesn’t show love of the game either

Strong disagree. Athletes today look more in shape because of how normal people view it. They see muscle definition and measurable traits like jumping or speed. But the truth is being in shape to play a sport is not really a body building competition where you starve to be low fat % for an hour. You need to be build tough and older eras did that better IMO. Especially around functional strength. Nowadays people do to many machine masked exercises for isolation muscles. Old days people threw tires and works masonry alongside other compound movements and exercises which strengthen areas that you don’t see. This prevents injury and allows you to take more of a beating.
