Skoob notices tendencies so quickly, particularly those that define a person’s shot selection, preference, and habituative shot set-up sequences. I realize that he is opting for increasing cognitive load — yes this is real, search google scholar — he isn’t hedging on trying to make a person miss. He is hedging on trying to make them play outside their game, increasing cognitive load, and then making players choose unfamiliar choices under (already) high-stakes situations, forcing them to play in constant discomfort and never truly getting to what they want.
Skoob is betting on the player’s cognitive human deficiencies under load more so than even trying to address weaknesses.
Buddy is a improv monster — dude doesn’t need tape as much as maybe Nas, given he has communicated his preference for having tap on players. Him in your corner is gives you immediate buffs across your physical, and at minimum, strategic attributes. Your gameplan can be completely unraveling against a player, but I have seen this guy get dudes back on track consistently.
Definitely is a coach at heart; I believe the “married the work” moniker.

No cap if it werent for Skoob it would be a whole different game, And there were many times Kaleb would forget the gameplan (having one arm by the chest) but its was really due to fatigue cant blame him. All said, he is alrdy one of the best small guards no doubt.

This was a heater🔥Talk about a debut💪🏾🔥😤 Kaleb is polished for sure. Playstyle of Boog played into the hands of someone of similar athleticism and intentionality in their approach. Would love to see Kaleb try to run the front end of the gauntlet of small guards on smaller platforms with one of the well known guys like Zay, then go for the other TNC top guards and LHD💯

Kaleb cold, great win. My advice for Boog would be to just play his game a little more. Yes he only 3 or layup, but Kaleb so far back and Boog WANTS to shoot a step back 3 anyways so that’s what he should have done. Kaleb so far back he couldn’t block a regular 3 for most of the game imagine a step back one. Boog not the most efficient and we’ve come to understand that but I feel if he shot the 3 and didn’t think so much about it this game would’ve ended differently.

Funny how Boog was downplaying Kaleb’s mid range game, and that’s exactly what he lacks. Keeps defenses honest: If you only hunt for 3s or layups, your scoring approach becomes easy to scout and defend. A stop on a dime elbow jumper would make his shifty bag unguardable.
