The nba separates the good from the great and the ncaa gives the good teams a chance to beat the great ones. You only get a few years in college compared to nba you can play as long as you can.

But if you’re the better team and you have a fluke or things don’t come together for a game or two you have a chance. NCAA you only get one shot and you better make it count. Most times, the stronger team simply prevails because they are just better. But when you play a team only once and winner moves on, you MUST be on your A+ game because there is not other opportunity. Essentially, randomness is mostly out of the equation in a long series whereas randomness is in total play with one game. I think yall or nothing in one game is more difficult. And this includes sports like football. It’s also why game 7s in sports are so hyped because it comes down to that ONE game.
Comparing college with a professional league is insane to me. The team that will win the NBA title will live and breathe for nothing but basketball. People like to look at NBA players and envy the money they make, but they don’t realize that their training take way more time than the average job.

Yep and a lot of “talent” in the NCAA doesnt entirely or remotely equate to NBA as the last 30 years have proven CHAMPION at that level or not(favored they were supposed to win) that energy can stay where it belongs
