Ty walked into this 1v1 not even knowing who he was playing. He was just eager to prove that he can go into any gym and hold his own. The game was super physical and the ref wasn’t calling anything so he decided to match the energy. From now on we will do our best to make sure the environment is right to not put any athletes in jeopardy.

@Jay It was a physical game and the ref was trash but I agree…this statement is a little soft. Reem played Ty the smartest way possible…extra physical. Ty is thinner and far more athletic…gotta put a body on him to keep him from getting loose. AND both played physical. Tons of fouling on both sides.

My point is that we shouldn’t act like this environment was more dangerous than any other cause it was hostile and physical. I didn’t see a single “hard” foul. Just physical play. Ty is a grown man and can handle himself. He proved it.
