I hope these programs you speak of include obeying laws like not being drunk, passed out in a public drive thru and then fight police- that would be a good program

My God… that bla bla bla again, players coalition made of Kyrie “Flat earth” Irving if they don’t play they don’t get paid the players just want to get paid and not play… that is literally the end of the world…

You should pay more attention, the players on the 8 teams that are not coming back will be getting paid also so how can you not pay the guys who don’t want to play for whatever reason?

Kyrie putting his money where his mouth is. Irving is a Star player and he was all in with the movement. Lebron, Perkins, Shannon Sharpe are all hypocrites coz if they all about the black movement and CARES as BLACK PEOPLE…they should refuse to play and comeback to play. At the end of the day, it shows that money is more important with these people than racism.

Irving and his minions are all in for this movement…Lebron says BLM yet he wants his money…it’s like against the cause and to me the worst thing is person who says one thing but his actions is different.

It’s like a black man with BLM sign while wearing KKK suit. I’m with Kyrie and his followers. Kyrie is the real deal!!!

Not working is not the solution to everything esp when you’re getting paid millions of dollars. And it’s not a coincidence players from lower seeds or outside the playoffs joined the coalition they just know they have no chance to win the chip.

blackmarlin I think they have a right not to play but they shouldn’t get any money

That 100 billion is not your money. Asking nicely with constructive ideas is one thing, but trying to strong arm owners by holding the whole league hostage is plain stupid.

Your not going to solve Racism (as bringing people together) but what you can do is start taking apart the broken structure and pay that 15-20 Trillion dollar bill that the U.S Corp owes

They saying that play wont distract from the issues but tbh just talking about whether or not they should play is already distracting from the issues..coverage is already fading. ESPN contributing to the problem already lol

I can’t pass the fact that they started this without the player’s union and more importantly LeBron the most import American athlete. This could be more affective if they actually thought this trough from the start. It seems like they are making this on the flight, and their demands are getting smaller by the day, and getting way from the main BLM issues. At the end they’ll get something symbolic or a promise about something superficial. They could have made a stronger player coalition within the Union with LeBron and CP3 leading and demanding specific police reforms in the cities where The league has teams. And the see what else can be done with NBA cares to aid the process. And help LBJ register people to vote. All the other stuff will not stop police shooting or abuse. They could also have tried to bring MJ and Masai in this as well.
