What Chuck said at the end is exactly the issue. Joel is one of the best in the world, best on his team, but he’s not a leader and he’ll never be.
Also, he could’ve won this game with one of the basic basketball elements – boxing out. Look at him in that last sequence.
I watched this game and with no preference as to who wins i will say the refs won this game for new york. The other team is much much more talented. But that new york crowd brings in a lot of revenue.

At least Embiid and Nurse are on the same page this time. Two years ago, when Nurse complained as head coach of the Toronto Raptors during a first-round series against Philadelphia, he thought Embiid got too many calls. To which Embiid responded: “Respectfully, I told him to stop b****ing about calls” 🤡
