They were ascending last year and playing the best basketball they ever have more in Charlotte. Yeah, I’m even more convinced now this experiment in Minnesota is going to backfire spectacularly. I suspect all the Vinny Goodwill haters on here are Toronto and Minnesota fans who are highly invested into turning a blind eye to what their teams just did. Toronto will have a 100+ million of their cap committed to a 35-year old Kawhi w/degenerative knee issues who started last year on the injured list, Quickley, and Jakob Poetl for the next 3 years. Yeah, that’ll age well. As for Giannis, he was healthy at the end of last season — the Bucks just didn’t want to play him. Guess everyone forgot that was one of the rifts was that he wanted to play and they wouldn’t let him to protect their draft position.
