On hindsight- that is actually the correct decision to make.
Luka is all crocked up and the truth is that the Lakers did not give him a long contract extension because of his injury history. And the Lakers are realizing this too late.
It’s just the fanning of the toxic reaction to this trade that will stain Nico and Kidd.

Luka doesn’t play defense and he gets gassed in the fourth. It’s going to be up to some Owner and GM to buy Luka a championship at this point. His golden years were in Dallas. Luka should go back to Dallas with a pay decrease if he wants to become Legend.
