detroit is lowkey a crazy sports town for a pretty garbage team, just saying as a person who annually visits there from toronto.

Boston is the best sports city when you add it all up. The fans support all four teams, Red Sox, Bruins, Patriots, Celtics. Those stadiums, and arenas are always full. The fans are passionate, and the teams are all successful. Add it all up and you get the best sports town. Even the Boston sports radio station is rated number one in the country I believe. Also I’m from Boston 😁

Are the people rude AF though? A friend of mine went all the way to America to visit there and said the people were worse than London and as bad as New York. 😵😵

      That’s next level rude, man.

Canada (Kelowna) on the other hand, was super polite. 🙏

The city of Cleveland literally had a grass roots movement to bring their football back to Cleveland after it got taken away in the 90s. That is unheard of. Before the Red Sox broke the record for most consecutive sellouts in the early 2000s, that record belonged to the Tribe from their 90s team. And the Cavs championship celebration was honestly the most magical thing I’ve ever experienced. Yeah, Cleveland belongs on the list

How is Seattle not on here? Seahawks and Kansas City hold records for loudest stadium. And Husky Stadium is the loudest college football stadium ever as it reached 133 decibels. AND Sonics fans were crazy passionate and still are

Molly dont even know sports like that so please stop. ive lived in Oakland for 6 years through Warriors championships and when they are not good no one cares to even go to games. Bay area fans are fare weather except for their Raiders . Now, Ive lived in other cities but Cleveland by Far is the best Sports city. Ill put Boston on the list but no west coast team is even close

Nice list. I’ve been to a number of American cities but Melbourne Australia is the sport capital of the world. Melbourne hosts the following…. F1, MotoGP, AusOpen (1 of only 4 grand slams), The birthplace and home to 10 AFL teams, the winningest NRL Ruby team, 2 national soccer teams, 2 NBL teams, home of the boxing day test. I could go on, so I will. These are the stadiums/venues that are within walking distance from the centre of Melbourne CBD. MCG 90k seat stadium, Marvel Stadium 50k seat stadium, AAMI park 30k seat stadium, Melbourne park which has multiple tennis and BBall stadiums used for AUS open and NBL, Albert park home of the F1, MSAC (held swimming events for com games). Non major venues include, Olympic park (you guessed it, used for the 1954 Olympics), Glasshouse stadium, princess park 25k seating, Punt road oval, Goschs paddock. These are all walking distance from the centre of Melbourne… The following events that aren’t walking distance from Melbourne, MOTOGP (Phillip island), Flemington race course (home of the Melbourne cup, actually you could walk here). Melbourne also gets public holidays for the AFL grand final and the Melbourne cup… But nice list.. hahaha
