Luka could cure cancer with basketball and pundits like SAS would still find way to downplay him. SGA is good, no question about that. But taking down (not sure if it’s the right phrase) to uplift another just leaves a bad taste. At this point, the only argument for MVP is between Luka and Jokic. SGA played subpar these last 20 games or so. Of course, everyone deserves credit for what they’ve done for their team.
But if the argument is always about team standings, then it only shows MVP criteria every year is very unclear.

Man Stephen A right on this one SGA deserves it. He won’t get it but he deserves it.1 seed in west conference where the entire field 1-10 was at least 10 games over .500 this year’s west is STACKED. Nthey are the 2nd youngest team he is the lone superstar on that team everyone else is young n on the come up still.

If Luka carries the youngest team to the #1 seed at 25 averaging 30 he’d be MVP . Not sure why Shai is being disrespected .
