ThankYou for the 41 years of showing ppl around the world 🌎 that no matter where you start, you can always finish strong if you believe in yourself and put in the effort to be the all you can, no matter where you come from or what you’re trying to accomplish in life… Though I never knew you, tears run from my eyes thinking of how much of a Great Soul you are.

All Love and all heart to the best friend I never had 💜💛🖤🤍

I remember I just woke up that day super sleepy and checked my timeline. Seeing that news I was shocked and devastated shouting “Kobe dieddd?!” and I’m not even a Kobe fan. Cuz I grew up watching the Big 3 in Miami heat with Wade, Lebron, and Bosh. I just know Kobe from stories of older people I know. When he died, i encouraged my classmates and we bought a basket ball and played again after 3 years amidst the busy life of college. When he died, a part of me also died but there is a part of me that lives. #Mambamentality

This man was my Mj, even though I’m a clippers fan I love watching greatness. The fact I never knew him his death hit me harder than family member passing. Was probably sick to my stomach for about 2 weeks, just felt empty and didn’t know how to handle it.
Wish those 9 people in the plane were still here today

This whole dump of a year started with losing Kobe. Maybe in another timeline he lived and 2020 didn’t turn out the way it did…

What sad in my opinion is that if there anyone in the basketball world after his career who deserved his time off to be with his family and kids full time it was Kobe that for me was sad

Wow Ernie just wow everyone’s thinking that he had his second life already set up and then yeah that happened for real. RIP Kobe Gigi. And everyone who was in that accident and to all those families that were affected. RIP

When you talk about the Lakers and NBA greats, Shaq, Magic, MJ, LeBron, you always never forget to mention one name. “Kobe”. That’s why he lives forever.

Ernie’s speech hit hard. Really makes you realize just how young 42 is.
