LP playing lazy af and everybody knows it. I feel like BIL is performing a humiliation ritual at this point. KB and Smitty are good but they lack polish and effort. Greg is good but he’s not aggressive enough. Team NOLA needs to get some practice in and build chemistry, that’s not gonna come from just being from the same city. They lack what the top teams have, they play for each other, have chemistry, and give at least close to max effort.

LP such a disappointment to watch now… I think we magnify his game when we watch him because of how good he was when he came into the scene but the lack off effort, laziness and inconsistency is why he didn’t make it to the NBA… seems like his passion for the game is gone. The last 3-4 games he played he’s shot 3-14+ from 3 that is disgustingly lazy just shows he doesn’t work on his game at all. I used to be a fan but his passion and work ethic is to cringe to continually support him…

LP missed layups but this game is more about JB and Greg not using their advantage. When either of them, especially Greg gets a rebound. Kick it out and stay in the post. The other two spread the court and leave the paint to Greg. At that point Greg who should be close to the basket does not have to dribble. It is a turn and shoot. Or a bump and pivot. IQ has to play a part in winning. In the first half, New Orleans is just one on one, no movement away from the ball, no action such as pick and roll, back picks, double screens. Then there is the deferring to LP. LP does not know basketball. NO loses due to low IQ. On defense, when you have a guy who is quicker than you, but you are taller, longer, you give space at least an arms length. That way you can contest the shot but also he has to come to you in order to get by you which allows you to meet him or at least not get blown by because you gave him space. Good game by NC, but NO’s lack of team IQ gave them the game.
