Never forget that these same fans who were celebrating were defaming and spray painting over murals of him all over Los Angeles. They will never accept him fully no mater what he does.

As a true Lakers fan, I was jumping for joy when he signed. It kinda helps he’s my 2nd favorite player ever, but I appreciated the fact that he was willing to join us despite the mess we were as a franchise prior to his arrival. There were some in the fandom who also didn’t want AD either believe it or not. Still will always have love for Laker fam overall, but this fanbase isn’t the brightest to say the least

But RJ said it best, there’s true Lakers fans then there’s the Kobe fans. HUGE difference

Jerry Der Most of them thought they were giving up too much for him + they got attached to the now former Lakers young core (Lonzo/Hart/Ingram) which I don’t blame them honestly, but we were never gonna win with them. If you have a chance to nab a star like AD you do it

I love Bron, probably my favorite player of all time. But he aint getting to the Laker Mt. Rushmore unless he either 3-peats (and probably more) OR do something miraculous

KD wont be remembered as A Warrior. Lebron needs to do 5 years and retire a Laker. But, franchises are trash when he leaves team

I’ve been a diehard Lakers fan since the Showtime era and a huge Kobe fan and hated Lebron so much but when he signed with us i celebrated like its 1999 coz as Lakers fans our main goal is for our team to win chips to tie and finally surpass Boston and i thought if there was one player that could lead us to the promise land it would be him and now were one win away from 17th, see yall outside Staples Center after the game tomorrow!

Gotta do it as a Laker…that’s a big deal to us. But trust me, we are aware that LeBron is an All-Time Great.

KJZ: Key said it best. Win a title you’re a Laker. Win two? We might rock your jersey.

That’s why Laker fans are the fakest, they hate you until you win LOL, but Kobe hasn’t won since losing Pau. Lebron is the GOAT, and the Kobe vs Laker fans comparison was spot on.

Hey lebron is great. But my issue is when they say he’s way better than kobe… kobe was better on both ends of the floor. Lebron is big and passes the ball good. Lebron is 4-6 kobe is 5-2 if lebron becomes 5-6 kobe is 5-2 how is lebron better ? Cuz of stats? Lol okay well if u go off stats let’s go off of rules. Hand checking. Isn’t a rule anymore. Also kobe had 1 team

My Favorite player joining my favorite team…why hate when you know Lebron is an instant franchise changer? If not for Lebron signing, we wouldn’t have gotten Anthony Davis…you can’t deny that this guy makes your team an instant title contender, and when he leaves, you’re a draft team.

Sam Presti should’ve won for fleecing the Clippers.

I’m a huge Bron fan, but honestly I think he’s gotta win at least 2 rings to be considered a Laker legend.

A Finals win would win would win over the Lakers fans. Kobe fans, maybe.
