If Porzingis could stay healthy, sure. As it is, the last time KP had a full season was 2015-16 – The “Unicorn” could do with a year of 10-15min bench roles with MAXIMUM conditioning and then let’s see where he is. I don’t think anyone is questioning KP’s talent but I also don’t think his body’s ever had time to heal before being asked to play heavy minutes 2-3months later.
Truth be told, after 2020-21 I was hoping to see my Heat playing the Mavs in a couple of years in the Finals. Looks like both teams need to do some retooling for that to happen.

Maybe if Luka played more like Net’s Harden instead of Houston’s Harden maybe Porzingis could actually show what he can do…gotta stay healthy though.

Perk made a good point, KP is not a catch and shoot player. That’s why it didn’t work this year, needs to get more love in the offense

If KP actually stayed healthy for more than a few minutes and shot the ball decently then yeah of course he’d be a good fit with Luka. Doncic is the best young player in the world so anyone who isn’t a complete zero out there is going to be good by his side.

it has nothing to do with the skill level and the fit of KP besides luka. he’s a great fit but it’s more about the happiness of KP. Will he be content in his role besides a guy as ball dominant and efficient as Luka.
