Had Julius on a good year. Getting Rose was huge…and for what they were able to do with the roster they have. this is well deserved.

Tbh, A few might think MONTY Williams should be the one to get this AWARD but I beg the Differ because NYK didn’t have not one Super⭐️ & they went #4 n the EAST wit not a lot of TALENT?? It was Randles 1st All⭐️ Appearance. Meanwhile, u have a Hall of Fame PG n CP3 & a SG that’s a BEAST n BOOKER so that should speak for itself?? The Suns practically has more Talent than the Knicks so it’s well Deserved to give this Award to THIBS?? Great JOB turning NY around to bigger & brighter things to come…

Team got embarrassed in the first round of the playoffs this literally proves media bias in sports no way Tom actually deserves this award , the same people saying the knicks have minimal talent are the same ones who acted like Julius randle was an mvp type player lol Quin Snyder clearly deserved this award unless you’re a knicks fan.

@Big Dawggg Bachi Thibs took the same knicks team that went 21-45 which was the record last season to the playoffs. Took a team of Roleplayers and a couple of rookies and second years also Randle gave them an identity which was defense. Transformed a reckless Randle into a whole all star in one season. In one season took one of the worst teams in the NBA to the playoffs in season one. Quin Snyder can’t do that not in one season

@Oh Wow that makes no sense, you’re punishing other coaches for having successful years prior to this year? The award is coach of the year not the most improved team….the truth is the knicks were the 5th seed in the East because of injuries they’re not even better than the Charlotte hornets if the hornets were healthy… knicks slide a little next year all these same knicks fans will be calling for him to be fired lol Quin Snyder or Monty Williams were clearly better candidates for this year. I don’t think any team in the league is going to trade quin Snyder for Tom thibodeau

@Clutch7 I didn’t say thibs did nothing, if the award was most improved team I would say he deserves it…quin Snyder led the Utah jazz to a league best record and were the best team all season long, they also broke an nba record for most three pointers a game..don’t act like quin Snyder did nothing.

Steph curry didn’t win mvp because his team lost 7 or 8 games more than the nuggets…thibs gets coach of year with a mediocre record and embarrassing first round loss. How does the team record matter so much when judging players for mvp but not for coach? How did Quin Snyder not win this other than the people who voted were knicks fans?

Why is Scott Perry even there? No offense to him. He seems great but how many Presidents, GMs whatever you want to call em’s can you have. Scott made some bad decisions especially draft choices. He is honestly the last of the old regime.

Personally don’t agree cause I’m a life long sun’s fan but hard to argue stats and facts. Thib killed it this year, theres not much more to it he had the least to work with and made it work the best. What the man did was so impressive and I can’t do nothing but wish it went to my man on the sun’s but tip.my hat outta respect to the season thib had.

I wish they could’ve done a “Co-Coach of The Year” both Thibbs and Monty deserved it!
I kinda gave the edge to Monty, but, it truly could’ve gone either way.

Surprised they didn’t say anything about “ he only won coach of the year because he’s white . “ Monty Williams or Nate McMillan probably deserved it , but Tibbs gets it because of skin color . smh
