Jordan has the highest career scoring average of all time in both the regular season (30.1 ppg) and playoffs (33.5 ppg). That’s a fact, not an opinion.

Also, scoring 25 a game is easier now because the 3 point shot is a multiplying factor. For example, if a player makes 5 three pointers, 2 jump shots, and 1 free throw in the modern NBA then that already puts him at 20 points. But a player in the 90s would need to make 10 field goal shots to reach 20 points. Now imagine averaging 30, without shooting a ton of 3s. This is why it’s hard to compare the stats of newer players like Dame Lillard to high scorers in the 80s/90s like Jordan, Mitch Richmond, Dominique Wilkins, Bird, etc. They were putting up big numbers in an era WITHOUT multiplying their stats with 3 pointers.

Perk needs help. “Durant sacrificed on the dubs to win championships” lmfao without the Curry klay and dray Durant would be just another All-Star with no chips and no finals mvps! Durant sacrificed on dibs because when Durant tries to do it the way Jordan did he failed every time! Durant ain’t nothing but a freak body that couldn’t win nothing without the odds heavily in his favor and he still doing that on the nets. Proving he ain’t got what it takes to win a chip with him being the leader. Durant ain’t no leader he just a follower

Look at Mohd Ali. Greatness is abt triumphant dominance, not efficiency nor superpowers nor perfect skills per se. We then try to adjust to era. So it isnt even abt winning always. Ali did lose, but he came back like no other.

So long as the 90s is taken as challenging, Jordan stands far above KD, imv.

Personally Im not sure if KD can handle all the 90s physicality. Hes a product of this era, and when u get hammered abt, its harder to score, even open shots. But I am sure Jordan wld shoot a decent Three w time in this era.

KD really can score at will but i guess it will always comes down to what kind of defense they do to opponents, i mean if KD got banged up like MJ did he would have retired early..
