Being a pro doesn’t mean the NBA, one name comes to mind is Jimmer Fredette and is doing very well overseas. NBA is tough. I’m in my 50s and kids back then weren’t training or thinking about the NBA, less European players. These coaches and parents are prepping their kids to become a pro in their early teens. Heavy influx of European players. No one in my era had trainers, nutritionist. Also the NBA was different. No one was shooting 3s. I wish him the best. If he keeps up his work ethic, he gives himself a chance. I’ve been following him since high school.

Sure, being a pro player means you’re a pro in Mexico or Turkey or effing Korea. But you’re not a PRO pro if you ain’t in the NBA, and that’s just facts.

@The Soles Addict The facts? Ok, I played mid major in a small conference, then went on to play NBA as well as Europe and Japan. I was fortunate to play against Oscar Schmidt in Italy. Look him up. He turned down NBA contracts like other foreign players did. Look at what’s happening to our Olympic team with these non NBA pro players. Glad you define what a pro is. That’s like telling an America professional soccer player playing in the MSL and not playing in Europe he’s not a pro soccer player. Or European golphers playing on the European tour and not in America. I tell you what, stick to the couch, increase your shoe collections and keep watching ballerlife. Have a great week brother.

No brainer 1st round pick if I’m a gm. Knockdown jump shooter with handles, crazy bounce, passing, and mid range game, athletic enough to be a good defender. Plays hard and is HUMBLE.
