Masai tried to walk right by him without showing any ID. Only after that did the cop touch him.

If he is supposed to let anyone by him and only after they enter the restricted area, then he’s allowed to act, he’s not a guard anymore.

Progressives and the Woke left want to act like this is an egregious overuse of force. No, Masai didnt expect to be id’d, and when the cop did his job they turned it i to a racial issue. If a white man had acted the same way as Ujiri the cop would have done the same thing.

Gsw should say something too. They got cameras everywhere in that building. Release all the footage and make sure this chump never works in your arena again. Or work as a police officer period.

The fact the cop had the audacity to sue Masai even though he instigated it really pisses me off.

There are 42 million people who are Black in the US, so to the person who asked how often this happens off camera, I would guess it happens (in one way or another) 42 million times a day; as a racist nation, it never stops!

Fred Vanfleet said the realest stuff. I appreciate how he realizes how for most of us Americans don’t have the privilege or platform to fight injustice.

I’m tired of hearing, “these are the people who are supposed to protect and serve”. It just isn’t true. The Supreme Court ruled years ago that the police have no constitutional duty to protect citizens. As for the “serve” part, we all know that is a complete joke.

Citizens need to stop looking at cops as if their job is to protect and serve. Their job is to fine and arrest. Their primary responsibility at this point is to generate revenue for the department and city. Don’t look to them for help. Always be suspicious of their intentions. Always record interactions with them. Don’t answer questions you aren’t legally obligated to answer. Protect yourself because they won’t.

every single thing in the officer claims happened to him, is a pure lie, and if he stated in court, he should be charged for perjury.

Obvious from the beginning, claimed he had a concussion is severe neck and head injuries, yet he stood there yapping on and on after the push.

one would think your hands would move to the injured spot, I think a concussion would mean, he stopped functioning. this officer must be charged and at the very least dismissed because his word in court will be worth s*** forever.

if anyone was conducted when this officer was involved, you can bet they are filing an appeal right now. that means some innocent people might go free, and it means some guilty people will go free, that’s what happens when you let an a****** be a cop.

Police cannot be trusted. Bodycams or your word and statements are hallow.

Masai does seem to have a bad attitude though. He walks around like he’s a king and it bothers me.
