They keep saying he’s an offensive player but he’s not scoring either. If he was averaging 20ppg he would still be playing

The Knicks need a QUALITY center. I’m tired of saying it. You can feed me all that “the league is different” now – but look at all the really good teams and they have a good all around center. Mitch is a slightly better Nerlens Noel. We need a guy who can do more than block and dunk. And guys in case you didn’t know – when Kemba walker is on the bench the Knicks have the NUMBER ONE defense in the league. There is no “bad” team that can say that. There aren’t many “elite” teams that can say that. They need to unleash Obi. Thibs needs to get off that veteran bs and start playing his young ballers like IQ and Obi.

The problem with Kemba is that he needs a lot of minutes to be efficient unlike good role/bench players where you play them for 10 minutes and will give you something like 4pts 3reb 1ass 1stl. Plus energy and enthusiasm

Idc about height CP3 has never been a liability on the defensive end and hes around the same height as Kemba. Defense is about desire.

Kemba ain’t playing his best offensively for sure… But why are some folks acting like he’s supposed to be the next Gary Payton when they signed him? Dude’s NEVER been a good defender why tf y’all so shocked that he’s a defensive liability? Lol

I mean I feel bad for Kemba but he’s just a liability at this point, i’ve seen him in Boston and everytime, too easy to score on him and he’s got more 5-25 nights than everything else

The problem with Kemba is his offense is not offsetting his lack of defense. If he were getting us 15 and 7 a night which he is easily capable of getting, the Knicks would be in a much better position. A lot of that has to do with coaching.

Kemble isn’t in a slump, he’s just in the middle of a multi year contract with guaranteed money at the end. It’s standard

At 6′ tall, Kemba Walker has to be, as a pointguard, either
    High Volume scorer
Great and reliable 3 point shooter
    Pass first PG with +10apg
Defensive PG with hustle on the defensive end
And he is none of that.
CP3 is 6′ tall and still useful. Figure out why.

his defense is not the only problem…. he cant score as well because the injuries caught up to him and hes not the same player… you started to see it in boston and thats why they had to attach a first round pick just to get rid of him… if hes not scoring consistently hes pretty much useless

Crazy that six feet tall is considered short πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Is he out of the rotation entirely? If he’s just out of the starting line-up he can come in and be a sixth man to put points on the board when you need a one man show for a few minutes. Seems like a good use to me.
