‘I’m not concerned — yet’ – Paul Pierce on the Nuggets | The Jump

Rachel Nichols, Richard Jefferson and Paul Pierce head to “Crunch Time” to react to the Golden State Warriors’ performance since Draymond Green returned alongside Stephen Curry, Giannis Antetokounmpo’s scoring outburst vs. the Detroit Pistons, and the New York Knicks being 4-3 after beating the Atlanta Hawks. They then react to the slow start for the Denver Nuggets, and discuss whether Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray, Michael Porter Jr. & Co. should be concerned.

Glad the nuggets are getting this respect, if it was last year all these analysts would be panicking but they proved themselves in the playoffs and they rightfully getting there respect

Stoked to hear that the Jump crew isn’t worried yet about the Nuggets. The truth is right, 25 games and you know.

bruh, everybody knows, you can’t look at offensive and defensive rating for at least 15 games. One game swings things so much

well, i am. they’re playing HORRENDOUS DEFENSE right now. if they don’t play some D, they could be ONE AND DONE this year or even MISS the PLAYOFFS

I think the nuggets are great but I think that they’ll seed behind the suns because they’re lack of defensive players

Concerned about the Nuggets? They are 2-4. Are they concerned about the Nets? They are 3-4. Concerned about Dallas? 3-4. The nuggets will be 3-4 after tonight. No reason to be concerned at all.

I think the Nuggets losing Grant, Craig and Plumlee damaged their defense and depth immensely.. They have to rely on their starters to play more(Jokic looks drained at the end of the 4th qtr) and MPJ is still horrible on D.. They’ll still make the playoffs but maybe the bottom half.. Harris is the only above average defender left on that team.

To bad the game is decided by score! So yeah im gonna look at your numbers and dray is trash.

      January 6, 2021 at 2:19 am

@David Shih casual is the most casual “insult”. Next time come correct or just stfu! Way to lead a team in bottom 5 opponent 3% pts allowed. Doest lead his own team in def anything. Puts up airballs so bad they look like passes. Is casual even an insult? Is all you do is watch bball 24/7 mr hardcore. Grats on that accomplishment i guess.

    • David Shih

      January 6, 2021 at 2:28 am

@Ricky VanDusen then tell me who is their best defender? Who else on that team can distribute the ball better? There’s a reason he’s was dpoy

    • Mitchell Ajieroh

      January 6, 2021 at 2:33 am

@David Shih he’s not trash but he’s you can clearly see he’s not nearly the same player now as in 2015 or 2016
