Man…. It kills me everytime I hear about Kawhi’s “possible” return on ESPN. I’m convinced that they didn’t receive the official news yet. According to Skip Bayless on FS1’s Undisputed, he reported that somebody close to Kawhi’s inner circle revealed that Kawhi suffered a serious knee injury that made him unplayable for the rest of the season. They are still trying to figure out how long the time table is going to be, but Kawhi is definitely not coming back for the playoffs and they’re trying to start preparing him for next season.

For every “fan” that says Kawhi needs to play. Just remember Klay Thompson and KD in the Finals. And Anthony Davis this year. Stop making players sacrifice themselves and their bodies for entertainment. Their human beings that want to live long healthy lives just like the rest of us.

I think that it was very telling that Kawhi Leonard was up in the Press Box last night and not down with the team. Only because it signifies that they didn’t want the public to see Kawhi Leonard limping or the need for him to take an elevator rather than walking in and out of the tunnel. I think Kawhi Leonard is done for the season

I think they need to shorten the playoffs honestly. Too many injuries from too much grinding. Make every series a best 2 out of 3. The third game can be held in neutral territory if a game 3 is needed.
Grown men playing this hard at that pace for over a month is going to generate injuries.

I think kawhi will need load management in the regular season for his whole career from now on. He played back to back games this season and see what happened. His body is just not durable enough to play BTB and more than 36mins per game. I also dont think he can play a full quarter. He can forget abt most of the regular season accolades and focus on the playoffs. I rather he plays 3/4 of a regular season than to see him suffer from wearNtear like tmac, drose, broy, kobe, gilbert arenas. I want to see him every game in the playoffs and not against those BTB bottom feeders in the regular season.
