Darvin Ham has been doing an absolute horrible job all season playing the guessing game with the lineups and no in game adjustments in the playoffs like this… I’m not tryna hear about things being unfair

EXACTLY THE POINT,,..Lakers is the worst defensive team this year even worse than last year..its coaching obligation to secure strategy to strengthen their defense and part of such is putting players defensively all the time in the court

Ham is starting AD at the 5 when he’s a 4 thats not gonna work against Denver Jokic is 7ft Gordon and Porter is 6’10 , Ham wants AD to guard the perimeter, guard the paint, grab every rebound and score 30 lol he doesn’t call timeouts when Denver goes on runs, i can go on and on. Ham is horrible and these dudes on ESPN are dumb

That’s the LeBron leadership. AD didn’t use to blame everyone else. LeBron is in year 21 of blaming the GM, coaches, his teammates and the refs. And a few years with LeBron and he’s turning into the same whining, crying, drama Queen that LeBron is.
The coach isn’t on the floor. If all the players don’t know what they are doing after 82 games, that’s on the players, not the coach.

To be real, even when we won the chip in 2020, the Lakers always wanted Jason Kidd. Ham isn’t a bad coach, but he wasn’t made to fit how we wanna play. I feel like his successes and failures are basically due to circumstances.

why does the media feel the need to defend Darvin ham so much?
Laker fan here, I have watched EVERY GAME the last 2 seasons. Ham is NOT a good coach. There is absolutely no stretch that can be had to justify Ham or convince me as a good coach.
He is terrible. Completely disagree with SAS here.

I never thought hiring Darvin Ham was fair to anyone. It’s the lakers, with Lebron and Ad. They are expected to be successful in the playoffs. It’s not just about making the playoffs. This isn’t a rebuild, guys like Darvin Ham get hired for young teams or rebuilds.
