So now Rachel wants defense to matter in the mvp race? They need to just say they don’t like Jokic, lol They’ve been trying to downplay or just ignore him all season.

“oh it’s East” only doesn’t matter when it fits your narrative.

“Oh it’s the east” all the players she named are on a combined 2 teams. STOP IT.

It’s going to be interesting with Jamal Murray out for the season. If Jokic carries this team to a top 4 seed in the West I don’t see how you not give it to him. With no other Allstar on the team to finish the season? Embiid is having a phenomenal season don’t get me wrong, Jokic is putting up 26, 11 & 9 on 56.5 FG% and almost 42% from 3 w/ no rest, played all back to backs, including the all star game.

Chris Paul should be number one in this race right now. Look how he turned around that dumpster fire in the desert.

I love how they want to talk about defense when they compare Jokic and Embiid but won’t bring up playmaking lmao

      April 17, 2021 at 2:38 am

As a center, defense is a necessity and Jokic doesn’t have that

    • Angelo Gonzalez

      April 17, 2021 at 2:43 am

@Y B saying he has no defense is a joke, Jokic is an above average defender that being said he isn’t elite like Embiid is but the difference in playmaking is huge

@Angelo Gonzalez Embiid is also a better scorer, and getting to the line, getting defenders in foul trouble. It makes the defence hesitate to pressure you.

I think missing games shouldn’t cost you anymore if you’re the clear frontrunner for an award you should win it. He has carried the 76ers to the next level with Doc
