Curry can take all the money but he won’t win anymore championships because of it. When 1 player makes that kind of money it becomes more difficult to get pieces around him to contend. The Warriors got nobody in free agency so far , while the Heat , Nets, and Lakers made moves.

Since 2016 most NBA teams have been trading and signing players at a very high rate, as if they believe that the only way to get better is to change players.
But that’s not the way things have always been, even as recent as 2012-2016. A lot of very good teams, including championship teams like the Spurs championship team in 2014, made very minimal moves in free agency.
That team lost to the really young Durant, Westbrook, Harden Thunder in 2012, then lost to the Lebron, Wade, Bosh Heat in 2013, and then came back with a near identical roster to beat the Heat for the NBA championship in 2014 in a very dominant fashion.
