Gelo is a very good basketball player. But he just isn’t an NBA talent basketball player.
He doesn’t move with the grace or finesse that NBA minds are looking for. That is why he should opt to make a career overseas, collect some decent checks and enjoy the game while he is still is entering his prime.

Maybe if the Swarm used him more he would’ve been far passed this level. You don’t get better by sitting on a bench. Considering he barely played during the season with the Swarm I think he’s doing much better. Of course there’s always room for improvement, but that’s for any sport. For people who only finding a need for extra criticism towards him are probably dealing with their own personal failures and losing life triggers. Which are the misery loves company types. If his critics were doing so great in their own personal lives they wouldn’t have the time nor energy to bash others. #GettaLife!

It doesn’t look like Gelo’s game has improved. No footwork in the paint, no pump fakes, no jab steps, no mid-range J, no pick n roll or pop, no slashing to the basket, no directing traffic and no dunks! He appears sluggish and unable to get by a defender. He should catch the ball on the blocks instead backing down defenders from the 3 point line. Also we’re are the boards! Gelo is too big to just roam the perimeter. He runs the floor hard just to pull up from 3. Drive to the basket for an easy layup. His energy matched the competition when it should be way above it. The game didn’t look easy as it should be for him. Gelo’s game is very PG dependent still.
