As a heat fan, this doesn’t move the needle. We need our young dawgs to be consistent. (Bam, tyler, and Robinson). We have the leaders already.

@Ziggurat Jones no I’m not, I’m being literal. Last year the heat finished 6. The year before that, it was 5th. In the east you have Milwaukee, Brooklyn and philly who is clearly better then us. Then you have Atlanta and Boston who is on our level, and then you have a hungry knicks and bulls team. I’m not seeing Kyle making the difference between us jumping from 6to 4.

      Wouldn’t

@Maurice Lamar you realize the raptors have made the playoffs 7 out of the 9 years Lowry was a Raptor? And that includes several years as one of the top seeded teams and a chip?

    • Maurice Lamar

      September 20, 2021 at 11:59 pm

@Theodore Roosevelt so was Dwight Howard when he went to the lakers from Orlando. Just like melo wen he wen to the knicks. Westbrook when he went to Houston. Etc

@Maurice Lamar rankings =/= playoff performance. You said he doesnt push the needle, but then your argument is… regular season standings? Lol what

I feel bad for Miami and I’m a raptor fan..this guy quit on his team last year when they were struggling..its amazing he played against the lakers then a round of golf but all of a sudden he hurt his “back”

He was a great raptor but we won the championship bc of Kawhi not lowry…also helped that van fleet was shooting like larry bird after his child was born in the playoffs lol

@Kevin Smiley I think they babied him too much….

@This is Patrick he did quit on the team..how is it he was ok to play the lakers then golf and all of a sudden his back bothers him the next day??

I blame management for pampering him..riley won’t be so easy

They shut him down when they realized making the playoffs or play in rather would be pointless. He didn’t quit management didn’t want him to play. Plus they didn’t want him to get seriously injured because they were gonna trade him anyways.

You not a real Raptor fan otherwise you wouldn’t be disrespecting Kyle Lowry like that.

    • Tim Galez

      September 21, 2021 at 12:30 am

@ATrain I’m a season ticket holder but it’s just my opinion about him..hopefully jimmy butler can straighten him out

Miami is blessed to have Kyle, as well as all the other Raptors Miami wished they produced.

      September 21, 2021 at 2:38 am

Raptors really don’t produce much so I’m not sure how your comment makes sense. Miami’s fine with who has come thru the organization lmaoo

I like Lowry but at this point in his career I don’t see him as that much of an upgrade over Dragic..

    • Young OG

      September 20, 2021 at 11:07 pm

I feel you cause you thinking age but trust that there in two totally different leagues man, dragic is a score first PG looking to get his. Had to develop the passing mindset. Lowry is really pure, you’ll see.

If they find a formidable backup center, stay healthy and can knock down the 3 they’ll be as good as the 2019 team.

Kyle Lowry was monumental to creating and maintaining a great basketball culture in Toronto. He was the leader of our team for many seasons. Thank you Kyle.
