“What player would give MJ problems”
Proceeds to name players who play different positions and wouldn’t match up with MJ in game ever lol

Exactly, so when he say that meaning MJ couldn’t stop them. In that matter neither could Scottie either

The question asked was actually “who do you think is the best player you’ve ever seen next to MJ?” His answer was who he thought is the best player next to MJ.

Sorry, I have to go with Pat Riley. Phil Jackson was great to manage that talent. But he did have the GOAT and another HOF playing for him. I’m not dissing him. I’m just saying it’s kinda hard to miss with that talent level playing for you.

@isaachaze1 I loved Pat.. But (11 chips) Of course somebody has to have MJ, It’s just funny how when Phil arrives Chips come, while the previous coaches who had these HOF’ers failed …. and Phil did it in different scenarios, over and over, proven.. (where other coaches failed when they had Shaq and Kobe) but when He came, they won a 3-peat the first year he arrived. He MADE 2 legends into GOAT champs, who despised each other and couldn’t win together previously. Then he came back to Win again with Kobe’s 2nd run. Who has a better resume?

When you talk about greatness Hakeem Olajuwon and Tim Duncan should always be mentioned away before Lebron!!

This is why most basketball players and legend choose Michael over LeBron, outside of being a physical anomaly, he has little to no fundamentals at all. Fundamentals trumps athletics and flash 9/10 times. Tthe Spurs showed the world that in 2014. This is why MJ and Hakeem would dominate this era. Literally unguardable with their overall fundamentals, athleticism and skillset.

ESPN should hire more former pros to fill these talk shows. Glad to see someone with credibility putting Timmy & Olajuwon in the ‘best player’ conversation
