Lakers aren’t winning it this season. Gotta get past Suns, then Portland, then Jazz or Clippers, then probably Nets or Bucks. Yeah goodluck with that 👍..

If you’ve ever strained your groin playing basketball, you know that doesn’t fully heal for at least 4-6 weeks. Lakers are done.

Anthony Davis has to be the most brittle player in the league. The guy stays hurt. It’s hard to build consistency when your stars keep getting hurt. Even LeBron is starting to become injury prone, in his case though it’s expected since all those minutes are catching up to him.

EDIT: I forgot about Chri Paul lol. He and AD going neck and neck for most brittle.

Charles may have been right at the start of the playoffs that 2 guys aren’t going to beat the western conference especially when you’re not healthy and you haven’t built continuity during the season. The supporting cast is going to have to play huge to win this series not just one game. But a bigger concern for the Lakers is AD’s health. He’s supposed to be the future of the franchise after LBJ moves on but the Lakers will have to get another dominate alpha that can bring it every night because he just doesn’t (even though he can he just doesn’t) and the best ability is availability if he can’t get or stay on the court what good is he. The second thing is his age and pace of games missed due to injury during his career some big men don’t recovery from being injury prone and still can play but are limited to how well they play due to the injuries effects. L.A. got a tough field to plow in these playoffs and don’t seem to have the mules to get it done.

If Anthony Davis played in the 90s he would’ve died on the court. I hope he recovers soon

Davis is the softest, most brittle “big man” in the league. Lakers are done.

Sir Charles with the only real take on this! How did anyone expect Lakers to repeat this season as the 7th seed? This is the first year I feel like the West has really been disrespected by all these analysts…
Then you got the 3 headed monster of the East!!
