As a nuggets fan I was feeling pretty comfortable with our finals odds this year. I mean of course there’s some tough teams that might turn up come playoffs. GS for example. But now that KD is on the Suns that’s a scary team. Plenty of time to get good together too. The west feels scarier for us now for sure.

Now they call the Lakers “title contenders”
I’m a huge Westbrook fan so I’m kind of happy I don’t have to route for the Lakers anymore

I hope suns can do something great with kd, and I am no suns fan. But dude has found himself injured every year for a while

Chuck said nuggets are the favorite I hope not just because they are number one in the standings… That almost never means anything

Giving up Mikal for a past his prime, albeit legend (and legendary mercenary) – like Durant, is what upset so many Suns fans. Then again, as one (what was a badge of honor 20-35 yrs ago, but is now more like a yearly bad joke), we have absolutely nothing to get upset about considering Mikal (and Cam) weren’t goin to bring us a title anyway. KD may not either, but the dice had to be rolled.

I just want to know if KD is good enough to beat the CP3 playoffs curse.

Am I the only one who thinks the “Phoenix gave up a ton in this package” thing is a little overblown. Yeah the pick equity was big but Jae didn’t play so the Suns basically traded 2 players for two and also opened up the roster spot for someone who will play from the buyout market, who we’ve now learned is Terrance Ross. TJ Warren is a very underrated piece in this trade and I think he can provide a nice spark off the bench.

KD knows better than anybody that he can’t win a CHIP unless he’s surrounded by stars and he’s not the #1 guy. Anybody who has him in the Goat conversation is truly delusional

The NBA is a sham. Glorified 3-point shooting contest, no defense, and teams swapping players like sports cards. This show is about the only thing worthwhile in the game today.

Kenny is right this year it’s not just 2-3 teams that can win it all now it’s like 7-8

Russ went to the Jazz and the Lakers got DeAngelo in 3 team trade. the Lakers have a solid bench now with Hachimura, Mo Bamba who’s always been reliable on defense. the Lakers might finally have gotten back to the Finals contender they once were.

Chuck is unironically the best analyst when it comes to pure basketball instincts as a pundit.

Nets had everything to be a championship contender….ownership; Joe Tsai and front office was the problem…it started back when there was no pushback on that Coronavirus policy…you won’t hear Chuck Kenny Shaq and Ernie say it but they know it. Tsai attacked Kyrie for his decision making, as a man, now his team has no superstars

Mario Elie played in Ireland 🇮🇪 And then went and won championships! Random fact 😊

Phoenix and Memphis are two of the most hated, cocky, disrespectful (when they should be humble) teams in the nba. Phoenix is now even more hated with KD and losing a pretty solid human in MB.
