barkley has a blindness when it comes to race because he got rich and famous at a very young age. i feel like his experience with cops and white people was so different than the average black american. he has always been a little bit off when speaking on race issues because his fame insulated him from a lot of the black experience.
This reaction to Drew Brees is so overblown. He simply asked to respected the flag that represents freedom. And people get all but hurt. Grow up snowflakes.
The problem is there is never an intention to disrespect the flag or any individual’s who have served or are serving. If you believe this is more offensive than innocent people getting murdered then you are part of the problem
Drew Brees was wrong but his opinion reflects that of about 40% of the country, and you can’t just cancel 150 million people. Dialogue needs to be kept open and people need to be persuaded rather than simply cast aside as irredeemable enemies. That said, Brees has had more than enough time to reflect on this issue throughout the entire Colin Kaepernick situation. If the shallow and simplistic comments he made are all he has to offer, he clearly needs to spend more time thinking about racial matters before answering this sort of question again.
This shouldn’t be that big of a news story. Brees was asked a question and he has the right to his opinion on respecting the flag just like Kaepernick has the right to kneel during the Anthem. If you support one but not the other than you are a hypocrite. Just because his opinion is different doesn’t mean he can’t say it (albeit, at the wrong time). Charles and Shaq are right.
People care to much what Lebron has to say. This is the same guy that ditched his city, went back to his city to play again just to dip again. Dude is a sell out, f him.

Barkley stop! Drew was being wilfully ignorant and loud about it, so his cancellation should be the same
