Similar but slightly different. They worked with Kemba. They load managed him all season no back to backs…zero…just to save him for playoffs…it was either jeopardize keeping JT n JB happy or move on 🤷🏾♂️ it is what it is…just can’t win with him like that…I love Kemba tho

IT said the only issue he had with Boston was that they didn’t let him know the risks of him playing with his bad hip. He didn’t have an issue with them trading him. In fact, the way they load managed Kemba this year showed that they learned from the IT situation, and didn’t want to risk him.

@Corey Hansen That won’t happen. The scouts will leave the colleges and flood the high schools virtually over night. Colleges will lose money and scouting will be awful as it was in the early 2000s.

I’d say go after Lowry, 2yr 40-50m. A sign and trade.
Toronto gets Horford a quality center to play next to Siakam, short term.

Williams is no better than a back-up center atm. very inconsistent throughout the year and playoffs, but seems to always bring energy when he comes off the bench.

Lol Isaiah is washed up and has been trash after the trade, boston made the smart decision and got a better player for him in Kyrie even if it was only for 2 seasons. Kemba is Hella injury prone and might never be the same. They got a veteran big who knows the system and a decent young player in Moses brown

Watching Mavs playing Boban Marjanovic against the Clippers shows that there’s instances that Tacko Falls can be effective in a controlled minutes of the game and after this trade Celtics has a lot of bigs in roster to choose from. Giving the new coach different ways to play. They can play small ball with Horford or Kornet. They can play TT a bruiser, tough, perfect for playoff where the game is slower, or they can play faster, run with Rob or Moses. Celtics got better because of this trade.
