People have a hard time understanding context. Ja Morant is clearly playing at the level of a first ballot HOFer. That’s basically what KD is saying. We saw D rose play at this level for a season then never do it again and now it’s questionable, but that RARELY happens, where someone is this good and then falls off for some random reason. Right now Ja is as good as most top 50 players at their peak. That’s HOF level, clearly. Will he continue? Yeah, probably. He hasn’t proven to be injury prone whatsoever so far really, so we have no reason to think he’ll do anything but continue to improve like he has every year of his life.

It’s premature but he’s on the right path so far.

Any player that averages 27 points is HOF talent. This is not news.

Michael Adams, monte Ellis, Jerry stackhouse, Danny granger, Gilbert arenas, and Bradley Beal (still early for him, but I doubt he has any real chance to make the hall unless he joins a superteams and wins at least 2 chips) would like a word.

Ja is a great leader. Memphis is leading the NBA in total rebounds, offensive rebounds, blocks, and steals. Everyone on the roster is in their 20s…youngsters that are quick and aggressive. At age 28, Adams is the veteran.

The way he’s projected over the first three years, only injuries (Hopefully won’t happen) could stop him from being one. He’s already an mvp candidate in his third year, he’s special

Please retire this phrase. It is one of the stupidest terms thrown around. No one who hasn’t completed 10 years in their league should be described this way, regardless of how well they’ve played.

If ja never improves and just maintains his current level he’s a first ballot hall of famer.
