Marcus Hayes was in the wrong but Embiid has to learn how to control himself better.

I would gladly pay a fine or suspension for something a little more severe for than weak journalist who thinks he has the right to speak on ANYONE’S deceased family. These little unathletic keyboard pushers know which trees to climb.

I swear they rather lose the gold medal & talk about Tatum playing like trash in then give Kerr credit recognition of seeing Tatum was simply off & head wasn’t in it so he put players in the floor that had great chemistry n won

While it was rude and it was a “low blow” for the columnist to mention Embiid’s family, let’s remember that the columnist was referencing statements Embiid made publicly. From what I understand.

Thank u so much SA that news reporter needs to learn some type of etiquette. I understand boundaries now we shouldn’t of pushed him, but dammit people shouldn’t get off just talking out the side of the mouth and expecting no repercussions. If I was his teammates and other people in the NBA I would refuse to do, any type of interview with him or speak to that man

Did they need Tatum? So they say they never used Tatum (he played some minutes in the Olympics but not a lot). But didn’t Team USA win? So we won without using Tatum. Does it really matter now? No. If Tatum whining about not playing grow up. You’re getting paid millions and you’re repping your country. Grow up. Tatum is a far cry from being at LeBron’s, Curry’s, KD’s, and AD’s level. Youngblood still got a long way to prove himself. One championship does not make him a basketball legend.
I remember watching a documentary where Herb Brooks (coach of the Miracle Team) told a story of what his father said to him when he got cut from the Team USA hockey team and Team USA went on to win the gold. His father told him “well looks like they cut the right guy.” Tatum may not have been cut, but looks like they benched the right guy.
