most VALUABLE player. How can one player be the most valuable to the league itself? That would mean that the entire league would suffer without that player, doesn’t make sense. It’s about who is the most valuable to their team’s success. In reality, only a team can actually determine that. Example: We see how well Randle is playing but how much does Rose contribute to that success? Only the team would have the answer to that.
