Phil Jackson wrote a book called The Last Season bashing Kobe and then Scottie Pippen called Phil racist for it.

Dude, idk if the people in ESPN is just clickbaiting or just straight have low mark in literature at school. I am a non-native speaker and i do know the difference between BIOGRAPHY and AUTOBIOGRAPHY.
BIOGRAPHY is a book/text/story that tell us about a person life story. Usually in chronological order. From the start to some point of his (usually at the end point, that’s why usually biography books written/released after the person died or his/her career end). It can be written by the person him/herself, and if it does it is called AUTOBIOGRAPHY. Usually it is more detailed at emotional aspect (as the writer is the one who experience it first hand), situation describing, in first person perspective, etc.
This book is a BIOGRAPHY. Not an AUTOBIOGRAPHY. Giannis dont write this. It is just some 3rd person who want to make money by riding on his success to write a story about him when he clearly at the top right now. Heck, his career is not even near the end and this 3rd person want to write a biography about him!? At least wait until he reach 30s… This 3rd person (the writer) clearly want money, dont experience it first hand, and Giannis maybe feeling it he wont loss anything or just want to help other just give the permission. So dont believe too much on this emotional aspect of the book, at max the writer just guessing about it or interviewing some side characters (Giannis is busy with play-off you know?). In no way he know about it in detail or whats inside Giannis head nor what he feel about certain person or certain situation.

Kidd played a major role in Giannis early development

Giannis is not releasing this book. A writer who interviewed his teammates, family and friends is. I’m sure her accounts are accurate but for the sake of professionalism, please get this right.

These are the types of things used as shade towards J Kidd in his potential hiring in Portland, but in Dallas Kidd has an ownership that is willing to invest in his leadership, on the bench, of a playoff contending team, with a generational talent.
Portland wasn’t willing to take the heat. Dallas was.

This is an autobiography. It’s not written by Giannis. So none of these words are words from Giannis himself. Giannis of course is good with Kid. He’s a super loyal person. Nothing in this book speaks about Giannis own words from Giannis, it’s all second hand accounts. There are direct player quotes in there, and it’s clear that while Kidd’s style “worked” with Giannis, it didn’t necessarily work with everyone else. That much is certain. But, it’s fine. Life moves forward. There is a reason that after one season under Bud Giannis said he’s having the most fun he’s ever had playing basketball in his life. Bud was like a breath of a fresh air, even for Giannis.

Y’all know he’s not from the U.S…he meant all respect by that we in the U.S be too prissy but Giannis loves that

FYI: Forget the book
Jason Kidd is a terrible coach. Signed:
A milwaukee buck fan who use to defend Kidd. Do people forget what Kidd did to the nets on the way out? He burned the house down. Then in Milwaukee, he ran the team into the ground. Kidd is all about effort. His X’s and O’s, understanding of modern concepts, and actually knowing how to utilize his players skillsets are trash.
Kidd is great to motivate bad teams to play hard. And when you play hard every single night, you can scrape into the playoffs. But that doesn’t make you a good coach. Everything you hear in this book is just Kidd pushing his team to play with maximum effort. But you aren’t hearing anything about actually setting up players and the team for success.

Lets not forget that Kidd pleaded guilty to assaulting his wife in 2001.
Read the excerpts from the book. He sounds unstable. He shouldn’t have gotten this job
