Devin Vassell tallied 19 points and 6 rebounds for the Spurs, while Victor Wembanyama tallied 12 points, 11 rebounds and 6 blocks in the losing effort. The Mavericks win their sixth game of their last seven, improve to 40-29 on the season while the Spurs fall to 15-54.
Victor Wembanyama becomes the 6th Rookie to record 20+ games with 5+ BLK since 1973-74, he joins: Manute Bol (43), David Robinson (28), Alonzo Mourning (24), Mark Eaton (24), and Shaquille O’Neal (23).
Victor is the first rookie in over 30 seasons to accomplish this (Alonzo Mourning & Shaquille O’Neal during the 1992-93 season).

This probably the worst Luka game in the NBA that I can remember and it’s a 16 assists triple double.. Kyrie and Exum bailed us out… I only watch the 4th quarter but Wemby’s presence on the defensive end really bothered Luka in the 4th.. I think Wemby is the best defender in the league but I want Gobert to win DPOY just to annoy Draymond… Seemed like Draymond is bitter when Gobert wins DPOY.

Wow, Luka was terrible in this game as he went 6-27 from the field and 2-11 from three. He managed to bag a triple-double, but from a shooting standpoint this was not one of his best performances.
