I like this deal for both teams. Nets are very fortunate they made this trade before losing Harden for nothing in free agency.

I really hope Russ has been working on his game. I’m a die hard Laker, man, and he has been the biggest wrench in the spokes that I’ve ever seen. But, I was watching his OKC highlights, and I have to say: despite his career-stats never being astonishing, that version of Russ is way more efficient, impactful, confident, and dedicated. If he can look himself in the mirror, accept where he his, and focus on getting back to who he once was, I say the Lakers do have a shot at winning the chip. If they can activate their defense, Russ gets 20 points a night, LeBron gets his usual 30, AD gets 25 to 30, and their bench combines for 20 to 30, they can be a good team. They have to battle that disjointed, depressed energy that’s hovering over them, though.

U guys got this one wrong. Brooklyn got a great deal! If KD is healthy, the Ben move is a great move! Ben would be KD’s Westbrook. A guard that is a rim attacker and is willing to attack the rim and also willing to pass the ball. U got a shooter with KD and Ben can also throw to Seth Curry to shoot so Ben does not have to shoot with shooters around him. Seth is an excellent fit as teams will not be able to double or help on KD.
As for Kyrie…Load management baby!!!!!!! Keep him restricted until the playoffs and he will be healthy for the playoffs. He can create his own shot and self sufficient at a level where I do not believe that chemistry would be an issue throwing him in the game in the playoffs.
I can go on….But summary…Brooklyn is a contender and got better with the trade. I still like Harden, but I always felt that it was not enough ball to go around for them meaning KD, Harden, and Kyrie to be on the floor at the same time. Now KD is outright the first option with Ben being his Robin.
Nice work and we are about to see….
Side bar….Go Lakers! I wanna see The Melo-Man go against Kevin ‘KD-The Butter’ in the finals. 4-2 Lakers win and Melo gets a ring. KD has a ring! Share the wealth KD! Don’t keep the rings to your self….Lol….

Harden’s trust to Nets started to blurry when Irving did not want the vaccine. There’s one sportsman I knew who don’t want a vaccine too and he ended up without the starting trophy. This likely would be the fate of Nets.

I haven’t been crazy about Chris Haynes as a sideline guy but I gotta say, he’s good in this insider/analyst role

When Harden did his implosion, KD knew his chances for another Title this year were done. He may not come back at all. this year.

If I’m the lakers I’m taking john wall over westbrook and a first rounder. to me lakers dumb. john wall would do things that russel can’t do which is slow the gas,not get turnovers and brick shots and not rely on athletisicsm.

76ers only need to figure out their chemistry with Harden and Embiid
But Brooklyn?
Ben needs to improve his game and his head
Kyrie needs to play home games
And they need every man up
