I like this trade just because they didn’t go for donovan mitchell or zach lavine because you’ll probably lose julius randle in that trade or if somehow you manage to pull out without losing him you would seriously impact dynamic between brunson and randle which is working so far.

Quickly and Barret or OG? They refused to trade RJ for Mitchell but then make this trade.
I gave them a ton of credit when they traded for Brunsen when everybody thought they fkd up, but this one is a def win for Toronto.
RJ being Canadian they can build their future around him.

Stephen A has to get over Donovan Mitchell already. He’s so convinced that getting him is going to somehow make them prime contenders. While it won’t hurt them, obviously, it won’t make them championship level, either. Besides, with Brunson, Randle, and now Anunoby in the fold, you can build around those three through the draft. Stop trying to make these big splash signings. Build for the future, while you still can.
