Carmelo could have won an NBA Ring with the Knicks back in 2012. His attitude and his big mouth caused both Jeremy Lin & Mike D’antoni to leave NY. He can’t compare the two things: Gold medals vs. NBA ring. No credibility. 😅 Agreed with both commentators.

I get what he’s saying; in the Olympics everyone on the team has to be elite. It’s not the same as winning an NBA championship where you can have horrible players and still win a title. You’re literally playing against the best another country has to offer, it’s not the same.

I love Stephen A. But as a non professional athlete he doesn’t really have perspective to speak on this. The same way he says melo doesn’t have perspective as a non champion. Stephen A. lacks perspective as a non professional athlete.

I think all Melo was trying to say was everyone has the opportunity to compete for an NBA title if your 1-15th on the roster don’t matter how good you are but not everyone can be one of the 15 best players in the country and have the opportunity to compete for a gold medal
