Great bounce back! Games like this show how valuable Robert Williams is to this team. I’m just surprised we don’t run the offense more through him especially when Tatum is on the bench. Also, Grant Williams is scaring with how bad he’s been lately. Not sure if it’s a mental thing or what but the last few weeks haven’t been too good

He has always been a streaky shooter ever since he started 0 for 30 in his career. When he’s hitting he’s on, when he’s missing he’s just an undersized PF getting jammed on.

Whoever here is a C’s fan and is attending the game vs Philly on Wednesday night (2/3). Please do all of the following:
1. Only wear green from head to toe
2. Arrive at the Garden earlier than usual
3. Take the #MBTA or an #UBER to get to the Garden instead of driving because taking the T is easier, better, and cleaner #GOGREEN
4. Boo the Sixers as loud as you can when they run out onto the court for pregame warmups
5. Boo the Sixers starting 5 as loud as you can
6. Scream your lungs out and cheer your heart out
7. Do not speak at all when the Public Address Announcer is speaking and when the C’s are attempting free throws
8. Chant “DEFENSE” and “LET’S GO CELTICS!!!” as loud as you can
9. Please stay for the entire game no matter what the score is
10. Don’t eat dinner before the game. Eat dinner at/during the game. The Garden’s concession stands need money
11. If you get refreshments from concession stands. Don’t get refreshments during halftime. Get refreshments either during pregame warmups, stoppages of plays (whistles), or timeouts. And eat in your seats and not in the concourse
12. Wear a mask/face covering except when you’re eating. We want to stop and slow the spread of germs/COVID. COVID is very/really contagious and dangerous. #MASKUP
13. If you have to go to the bathroom, don’t go to bathroom during halftime. Go to the bathroom either during pregame warmups, stoppages of play (whistles), or timeouts #HOLDIT
14. Cheer and applaud when appropriate
15. Stand up during the C’s starting 5 intro
16. Stand up and chant “MVP!!!” as loud as you can whenever Jayson Tatum is attempting free throws

Bogdanovic and Ivey are the only two players who played well for Detroit. It takes more than two players playing well to win a basketball game, especially when you’re going up against the best team in the East. Pistons deserved to lose.

But why did they out rebound the Pistons? It was because the Pistons shot a lower percentage. The offensive rebounds were very close – 1 extra for the Celtics. Defensive rebounds are easier but first you need to force a miss.
