because your vertical doesn’t matter when you’re unable to beat the defender in front of you and get to the rim, and if you can’t regularly do that, then your ability to pass doesn’t matter in the half court because you can’t create angles to pass, and if you’ve got a streaky jumper on top of all that, you’re in trouble. People gotta let Bronny *at least* dominate high school before they talk about NBA. Amari Bailey is way better, and he’s been up and down at UCLA so far.

@Fitzgerald I know enough about basketball that when I see a kid of his stature and gait playing with LeBron James Jr and these 6-8 dudes on their team, he had to work for it. I can tell by the reaction of the team AND the fact I’ve never seen him before in any of these SC clips that he only really gets to play when they’re up 25+ with a few minutes left. I can tell these things from watching basketball since before you were born. It makes it more fun for me, on a deeper level seeing young men be genuinely excited for each other before the competition of higher levels gets to them.
