What are you talking about? We just traded Norm for GTJ and with our development system I will not be surprised if he turns into a stud in the next few years. Winning a chip in Toronto is way harder than LA or Miami since they are massive FA desitinations to the players for obvious reasons.
Masai had to make a heartbreaking trade to get us a chip and made “win now” moves by trading a much younger Jonas Valanciunas for Marc Gasol so he could lock up Embiid and Vucevic in the playoffs, which he did.

Even if the heat don’t keep Vic, they will have cap space to get another actual big (Plumblee, Nerlens Noel, maybe Jarrett Allen) and maybe Use it to get a role player with draft picks. I like the team but they are scarce on picks.

My heat going to the finals again, said it last year and I’m saying it again. Victor oladipo was playing his way out of Houston still avg 20 ppg.
