Since the 2000s you need a dominant/ awesome center or big and a awesome or dominant shooting guard with role players who know they roles and do their jobs
Lakers Shaq and Kobe.. Kobe and Pau
Spurs Duncan and choose between Parker or Kawahi
Denver now with Jokic and Murray
Big 3s ain’t it

Durant is a team killer. If Phoenix was smart they would think about trading Durant and see if they can get another star or a boat load of assets. I mean a lot of players are going to be available that would be a better fit.

The big three era can still work in the NBA. But,… Everybody got to play a role for the betterment of the team. If you got three elite scores, everybody ain’t going to be able to shoot the basketball. You may have the rebound, play defense, and do other things to help your team to try to win a championship. Because out of three top scorers only one of them can be an alpha and the other two is going to have to follow that person’s lead along with the other role players. That’s how that has to work. If you have three guys that thinking that they are the alpha and they play a lot of ISO ball, it will not work. And sad to say, we’ve seen KD in this situation so many freaking times. He was in a great situation in Golden State even though Steph knew that Golden State is his team, he knew that KD was the better player and he took a step back. Steph is the best teammate to have. Probably one of Durant’s best teammates you’ve ever had. And you decide to leave to go to Brooklyn. Kevin Durant has nobody to blame but himself. There’s so many great teams are again better especially these young teams and he still trying to ring chase. Remind me of LeBron. I love LeBron and KD but it might be over for you guys. Y’all guys had a good run for almost a decade to two decades and now I really don’t see a situation how they can better their situation on the current team. 🤔

Nah. Give Curry a big 3 like Giannis/George/KD and the narrative changes. Big 3’s only work if the system is suited for them and they are willing to sacrifice for one another.
