St Joseph didn’t back down from Sierra and kept it close all the way till the start of the 4th quarter. Eventually Amari Bailey, Shy Odom and Sierra Canyon showed their dominance and pulled away. Amari Bailey 28pts; Shy Odom 20pts.

Amari, I really like the fact he has taken over the roll as leader. He is not as gifted in my opinion as Boston or Zaire, but he is more of a leader. Shy Odom is a stud, I really like how is fearless, if he focus on being a rebounding nut, I see him as being a burger boy as well. I wonder what happened to the tall Asian kid? He shown tremendous growth last year and I was thinking he would be one of the best big men in the country this year. When Bronny comes back, seeing how aggressive the other two players are playing, hopefully this will motivate him to dominate this year and show he is ready to take over. He has the physical tools, as Amari seems uncomfortable playing outside and his height 6’3 to 6’4 seems undersized for a powerforward and does need to work on his ball handling skills. Bronny seems to play or possess the skills for his position of shooting and point guard, just lacks confidence. Amari will dominate the high school ranks due to attitude but when he goes against d1 big guys he will need to extend his game, if I was him grab the G league money and work on extending your game.
