As a Lakers I will say this yes is an urgency the Lakers are the third oldest team in the league (2nd in the west). Also has the most finals experience going into the bubble. The Lakers have 7 players who played in the finals before and 6 of them have at least 1 ring. Also this is the best LeBron has before father time gets him. Also not mention they’re trying to win this for Kobe and the city of LA. So that’s a lot of pressure on them, and the other teams know it too. Yeah accourse The Clippers, Rockets, and Bucks has pressure on them too, but nothing compare to the Lakers. It’s win or else.

Why not just give the Lakers the trophy, it seem to be a far gone conclusion that they will win and nobody else have a chance. The narratives from sports media is ultimately horrible for sports, it feels like the fix is in before they play one game.
