This kids way overrated. Defense on the other team was horrible, he can’t shoot off the dribble, and any defense at the next level – college, wherever will lock his ass down. Not impressed. He’s also too small. Barely looks 6 ft.

#14 from the white team…seriously smooth ball handling. Natural/fluid shot mechanics. Range + size. It’s gotta transfer at next level when he goes against bigger and more athletic bodies but that kid should have a shot at an NBA roster down the line.

You just don’t see that kind of refined post play anymore that #5 showed at 6:40. He’s got handles, court awareness, creates his own shot, and distributes well. Few great finishes on I saw too. Really seems to embrace the physicality of getting to the basket in the paint. See how he works against next level competition but kid definitely has it.

A lot of great players are over looked for many reasons… height, unstable home life, grades, physical, mental, emotional maturity comes late to some, some people have growth spurt in their late teens and the grow 4, 5, 6, etc. The universities and the NBA is filled hardly any talent players….. I was outed by my coach, I could drop 20+ a game and he would always bench me because he would say he didn’t like my style of basketball. I played a lot of street ball so originally I would do a lot of crazy stuff to get to the rim but nonetheless I would get those points. He would only let me play on the JV squad even though when JV would play Varsity in practice I would drop so many points on them. Even my friends were confused as to why I wasn’t playing on varsity. I feel like my talent was wasted but then again who knows? We all feel like that lol
