I’m an Oklahoman and Thunder fan.
Ya’ll, something feels really dark and weird about these sudden influx of serious, brutal injuries. This doesn’t feel natural at all.
Ajay starts balling when Cason and Jdub go down, and now he’s questionable? Caruso was balling now he’s questionable? Chet was balling, now he’s questioninable? And it’s not just us.
Now Antman, Yaxel (questionable) Kawhi, JJJ, Markettun (sp), Kyrie (questionable)?
It’s like someone is using something dark to take certain teams and superstars down.
Then you have people literally outright celebrating OKC’s and other teams’ injuries. And it doesn’t even feel like a betting thing, it feels so evil and nefarious
I don’t know about ya’ll or how ya’ll feel about religion but I’m praying our over Thunder squad/OKC and the other recently injured players. This is deeper than basketball.
And yall can roll ya’ll’s eyes all you want when i say this, but I can’t help but to think of lebron/76ers because they will do ANYTHING for him to get this ring. Maybe even the Spurs.
And I’m not even being a little bit funny about this. I’m completely serious.
I know this may be too dark and deep for some people. But evil runs this world. We’re literally in a good vs evil war right now.
But it took me almost an hour to post this – no lie. My phone started freezing up and going extra slow. It never does that. But I kept writing.
Edit: And right as I type this, my husband just texted me that haliburton is out with a hamstring and I saw it here. And the Pacers play the 76ers tonight. Hmmmm…
Ya’ll still think I’m crazy?

That’s a big shame. This NBA season was supposed to be really exciting. You hate seeing best players getting injured. You hate to see it, but one thing I’ll say is that players need to learn how to play safe basketball. Of course, anything can happen, but recalling that moment with Jalen Williams when he was trying to dunk over the defender and then didn’t land safely on the floor, that’s the player’s fault. You have to know your limits. Basketball is a competitive sport, but you don’t need to risk your health over it.

Dudes need to wear some real high tops instead of these signature shoes. Nike, adidas, Converse and Reebok used to make actual basketball shoes, now they make designer footwear.

Load management is not working…negative step does not work, plus basketball players should train how to land and balance of upper body when in the air.

Now I’m sure they’re going to try to say it’s 80 something games and we only four games in these guys are not putting in the work I know some of them are but there’s no way LeBron James can stay healthy the way he do without the work ethic he puts in and these guys can’t even stay healthy for four games of basketball is too many people getting hurt one more thing they have got to do a physiological study on the damage that step back is doing if you go back to when that thing became popular look at the increase of injuries I know I’m right about this

No it’s the flooring that the NBA uses that is causing all of these injuries, Same as the NFl with the turf that they are using causing these injuries!!!! Do your research!!!!

How convenient Haliburton gets hurt right before 76ers play Indiana. Kawhi gets hurt before LAC game. NBA is fixing matches left and right.

Games relying more on speed and athleticism. More shots, more possessions. Players are expected to beat their man with a quick/powerful first step, ankle breakers, step backs. League should go down to a 72 game season (no more back to back games). Stars rarely play in those anyway.
