Because mJ did that as a favor, he only played 2 years, he wasnt playing with a top ten player in his prime like davis, and Cleary wasnt on a team that was trying to win a ring. Lebron is still getting players he wants. Also he won a bubble win years ago in front of zero fans. Hes been on the lakers for like 7 or 8 years.

Most of the time I disagree with SAS about the Lakers but this time I have the same questions he does.
There has been some changes in Lakers especially in the coaching staff and a little bit in the rooster. But are those changes enough to make LAL a title contender this season ? Personally, I don’t think so.
I hope the front office is goin’ to make some good trades to make the team more look more like a title contender team.
