That Indiana series was the first time I’ll legitimately saw the Celtics aggressively drive it in the lane consistently but they’re going to have to do that against lively and gafford now and if they can’t they’re going to resort right back to who they always have been unnecessarily heavy three-point shooters and the Mavs are going to win this

Taint-yum will be fine. I actively root against the Celtics every year. Throughout these playoffs when he gets the ball I’m clinched up and waiting for him to ring up the points. Hate Boston. HATE. Love me some J Tatum.

Maybe YOU won’t care. They, their fanbase, their families and friends, and their coaching staff will definitely care. Also, if the Celtics win and people still clown Tatum, what does that do to him? They’ll have jokes, but he’ll have a ring, and those jokes won’t do anything about THAT.

Losing to the Mavs, who are arguably a better team, is a pretty good excuse, is it not? Also, losing this Finals series does not mean that they will never win it. The present does not always determine the future.

I would rather give the ball in crunch time to JB rather than JT. Brown is a better clutch player.
